What Sort of Guarantees are Offered by WACKERS?

WACKERS Offers a One Year or 20 000 Kilometer Guarantee on all New Parts and Workmanship, Auto Electrical Work and Auto Electrical parts that have been Refurbished only carries a Three Month 5000 Kilometer Guarantee, there are also times were mechanical parts can be repaired and a usuall three MonthS or 5000 Kilometer Guarantee will also be Standard 

NB: Please note WACKERS cannot be held liable for any consiquencial damages resulting in part failure as we are not the manufacturers of the parts, and Guarantees are exposed to whichever Arrives First, Kilometers, Months or Year.

Do I need to Book my VW / Volkswagen or Audi in for Servicing at WACKERS?

Answer

No wackers opens at 7am Monday to Friday and accepts cars until 10am for same day servicing, should additional work be required our office will inform you that your car might only be ready by the following day.

Will WACKERS call me back to Confirm that I need Additional work done to my car?

Answer

Yes WACKERS will never go ahead with any additional work to be carried on your vehicle without contacting you first.

Does WACKERS have a Faulty Workmanship and Parts Insurance?

Yes WACKERS does have insurance against faulty workmanship and part failure after the client has collected there vehicle, please note the insurance doesnt cover consequencial losses incurred.

How do I know when my Cambelt / Timing belt needs to be Replaced?

Timing belts / cambelts are usually replaced listed below

most VW / Volkswagen and Audi belts are replaced from 75000 kilometers , 90000 kilometers,120000 kilometers and 180000 kilometers

Depending on which VW / Volkswagen or Audi product you drive if you are unsure you may email us or give us a call and we can assist you

PLEASE REMEMBER TIMING BELTS / CAMBELTS ARE USUALLY GUARANTEED FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS A CAMBELT / TIMING BELT REPLACED BEFORE IT BREAKES WILL ONLY COST YOU LESS THAN 10% OF WHAT IT WILL WHEN IT BREAKS AND USUALLY MORE IF THE VEHICLE IS TURBO CHARGED.

Yes WACKERS does do diagnostics we do not charge for basic diagnostics (plug in and have a look) we only charge should we need to strip and trouble shoot depending on the fault code.

How much does a TOW inn Service Cost?

Usual Towing inn Fees cost around R800.00 for + – 10 Kilometers to Our WACKERS Workshop which we pass onto you at the trade price we recieve.
